LAMPLIGHTER TOUR  2017

AN INVITATION TO RESEARCH:

Tuesday February 7th, 2017 6:30pm

Fleming Centre/Library - Meeting Room A, Beamsville

After the tremendous success of the 2016 Lamplighter Tour “Spirits of Spring Creek” in November, it is time to for us all to climb back into action and begin our work on the 2017 tour.
The Production Team has been meeting each month since the 2016 tour's close in preparation for our next project. Now we need to assemble another talented team of researchers to begin the work of exploring, discovering, revealing, sharing and celebrating the rich history of Lincoln as it experienced the creation of our nation 150 years ago, came together as a nation at Vimy Ridge fifty years later, celebrated Canada’s 1967 Centennial and looks to the present town existence and future Canadian life.
Historical time frames are suggested to be centered in 50 year spans.
Of course, every play will need local characters and happenings researched to frame the larger stories into a Lincoln reference.
No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm, a commitment to work and a fun smile!
